Over the past 22 years, I have seen the Silicon Valley change and grow exponentially. It is an amazing place to see. There are so many various types of technologies and of course all of them have been created, right here, in our own backyard.

Today, technology fuels everything; including our jobs, the economy and of course the health of our community.

Most importantly, technology provides an avenue for us to create economic wealth.

While sales is the only profession that I have ever known, the thing that is most exciting to me is watching companies like Cisco Systems, Apple, Sun, Brocade, Applied Materials and Manufacturers such as Tyco International, Parker-Hannafin (formerly WR Grace), Brocade Communication, Network Appliance and now Hewlett-Packard Company, change the pace of our future. I have been given the pleasure and privilege of not only serving my customers, but also serving the community in which I live as well.

I might add that each of these companies adds its own unique value and contributes to overall to “our” country’s economic growth.

I am very proud to be a part of such a unique opportunity in the Silicon Valley.
